SUMMARY OF INCIDENT: On the above date and time, Vermont State Police were dispatched to a dispute at a residence on Goldmine Road in the Town of Readsboro. Wendel was subsequently arrested for the suspicion of DUI and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing. While speaking with Wendel, Troopers detected indicators of impairment. Investigation determined that Gabriel Wendel (30) of Milton was operating the motorcycle at the time of the attempted traffic stop. Shortly after, Troopers located the motorcycle and operator at a residence in Milton. The motorcycle briefly stopped for the Trooper at Exit 17 before eluding in a negligent manor continuing north on the interstate. On Septemat approximately 0116 hours, a Trooper assigned to the Williston Barracks attempted to conduct a motor vehicle stop on a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed on Interstate 89 in the town of Colchester.
